It was a successful first weekend of the Don Charis Memorial Tournament for the Easton youth baseball teams.
Easton won the 10 and 12-years-old their part of the tournament. Both teams went through tournament undefeated. The 12-year-olds were dominating scoring 37 runs and only three. The 10s scored 32 times and gave up 13.
The nine and 11-year-old will be played Thursday, July 11 to Sunday, July 14, at Militia Park Complex.
All teams will be guaranteed 3 round robin games. The top four teams in each age group will advance to the playoffs Following every game, ‘player of the game’ recognition will be awarded to one player from each team. All players who play in the Championship games will receive trophies.
