Patch Picks: Great Spas

Easton Patch now runs a weekly feature called Patch Picks, highlighting editor and reader picks of great local businesses, destinations, services, organizations, ways to spend a day off,  and more. 

You’ll find useful lists to help you, your family, friends, and significant others find the best places for everything from Sunday brunch to various celebrations, pumpkin patches, date night destinations, florists, girlfriend nights out, kids party places, parks and more.

This week is all about relaxation. Featured here, in no particular order, is a list of five great spas you can go to take a load off.

Planet Beach offers massage chairs and beds, tanning beds, spray tan booths, a sauna and a facial machine. There are also a slew of beauty and skin care projects available at the Roache Brothers Way location.

Along with standard hair cutting and styling options, Emmy's Hair Salon & Spa offers services like roller sets, organic perms, facials, waxing, massage and mani-pedis. The salon, staffed by owner and stylist Emmy, is located in a residence just south of the intersection of Washington and Turnpike streets.

This spa, perched on a slight hill over Washington St. next to the Dance Workshop, offers customizable day packages that include such services as facials, manicures, eye treatment, massages, pedicures, makeup application and more. Wedding parties can come in or Colonial will go to them with on-location spa service. There's also a VIP membership program that saves repeat clients lots of money. This salon is located in the historic downtown area of Easton. The interior décor is very well-appointed, with modern furniture and welcoming plants lining the walls. Shangri-La specializes in spa packages such as the "Escape for the Day" package that includes a hot stone pedicure, spa manicure, European facial and massage. But the salon also has many individual services, such as hair cutting and styling, manicures and pedicures, facials and hair removal.
