Woman Allegedly Sexually Assaulted at Knifepoint in Attleboro

Local and state police are looking for a man they say kidnapped a woman at knifepoint and sexually assaulted her Tuesday afternoon in an Attleboro parking lot on Starkey Avenue. Those participating in the search, unsuccesful as of 6 p.m., included Norton and Attleboro police officers as well as state police K-9 units and a state police helicopter.

Stoughton Native Killed in Brockton Shooting

Police are investigating a Nov. 18 shooting at an apartment complex in Brockton which killed 35-year-old Marvin Pardo, a Stoughton native and 1996 graduate of Stoughton High.

Pardo was "found with gunshot wounds to his head and chest when Brockton police responded to the Madrid Square condominium on Oak Street around 3:33 a.m. Sunday," the Boston Globe reports.

Norton Police Catch Man Stealing Copper Piping

Police caught a man stealing copper piping from a local business Wednesday afternoon, leading to his arrest.

On Nov. 21, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Norton Police responded to 47 Elm St. for a report of a possible breaking and entering. An employee of Eureka Manufacturing was at the vacant building checking on the premises when he heard noises coming from inside the building and called police.

One Injured in 3-Car Accident Near Clock Farm in Easton

One person was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital after a three-car motor vehicle accident Saturday.

Easton emergency officials responded to the scene at approximately 5 p.m. Easton fire officials transported the patient.
