Baystate Show Choir Festival Showcase 2013 Performance at OAHS.

Baystate Show Choir
Festival Showcase 2013 Performance at OAHS.

We cordially invite you to be amazed and entertained by our
Saturday evening November 9th for the BSCF Showcase Performance beginning at 8:00PM.

Our choreographer for
Baystate is former OA Grad and Show Choir member, his name is Micah
Shepard.  He will be the Choreography Clinician
teaming with Vocal Clinician, Eric Van Cleave.  Micah is a New York
City based choreographer originally from Easton, MA.  Since graduating from the American Academy of
Dramatic Arts in NYC he has originating roles in the First National Tour of
High School Musical (Zeke) and Nine to Five.  He has choreographed the closing ceremonies of
the Vancouver Winter Olympics and Bring It On the Musical, Italy International
Dance Festival and various off-broadway shows and workshops.  Most recently Micah can be seen in the

upcoming movie Labor Day with Kate
Winslet and Josh Brolin. He is so excited to be at Baystate given this is where
he first started to get the itch to perform, create, and explore the arts.

Talented high school
groups from Massachusetts and beyond, including Canada are scheduled to
perform.   Now in its’ 29th year, the Festival is hosted
annually by the Oliver Ames Music Department and features OA’s national award
winning show choir Panache.  The
performance is the culmination of the Festival which kicks off Friday. Students
attend the two-day workshop and work with a show choir vocal clinician and choreographer, both nationally known, on the three numbers to be performed at
the Showcase.  Tickets for the Showcase

Performance are $16 and are available now online at oliverames.org/tickets

Tickets will be
available to purchase at the door. The Oliver Ames High School Performing Arts
Center is located on Lothrop Street, North Easton.
