Charity Bocce Tournament

Bocce League announces Tournament



First Annual Tony Volpe Memorial Bocce Tournament



North Easton, MA, September 12, 2013–
The Easton Bocce League will be hosting its inaugural event supporting the Lions
Club Foundation, The YMCA Fund and Easton Food Pantry.  The tournament will take place on Saturday,
October 5, 2013 from 10:00AM-6:30PM.  Matches
will be played on the newly constructed Tony Volpe Bocce Court located behind
the Easton Elm Street YMCA and on The Murphy Bocce Court located behind the
Ames Free Library.  All teams will play
at least two games.  Prizes will consist
of $250 for First place and $100 for Runner Up. 
All ages are welcome, no experience needed.  Feel free to pack your own picnic.  Please register via email to gbalestino@msn.com or
eastonbocce@yahoo.com.  There will be a
$50 registration fee per team with all proceeds going to the mentioned
charities.

enthusiast who had received the Lions Club Outstanding Volunteer Award this
year and recently passed away suddenly. 
His vision and inspiration have greatly influenced this event.”  David Mudd, MD



The Easton Bocce League is under the guidance of the Easton
Lions Club.  All the proceeds of the
tournament will be donated to the YMCA Fund, Easton Food Pantry and Easton
Lions Charitable Foundation.
