December vacation Week Activities

Just
because there is snow on the ground doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with
nature. Make a cool container to start an indoor garden and learn how to read
the tracks that animals leave in the snow.

Author Virginia Sands
will be visiting the museum at 10am. A Tree With A Knee opens our
minds to see the nature that is all around us differently. Virginia Sands
encourages observation of the natural world and stimulates the imagination as
she exposes creative ways of viewing the objects.

Virginia will be leading a hands-on workshop based on her book at 10 am on
Monday December 30th. By the end of the day, your child’s interest in the
nature that is all around them will have them going outside every chance that
they can get.
