EASTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY OPEN HOUSE

The Easton Historical Society’s Open House will be held this Sunday, December 15th from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.  On display for the first time will be a beautiful wedding gown worn by the mother of Lucy Aubreau Gallagher.  This gown was worn during a ceremony held in September 1913 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Easton.  There will also be a display of old fashion Christmas postcards.  The Society has many holiday gifts available.  Some of the gifts available for sale are Holiday ornaments, Mary Bodio stationery, the Reminiscences Books, Easton Historical Society tee shirts, cannonballs, and a selection of historic books.  You can also order prints of the historic gardens at Unity Close.  The original watercolor of the garden plan was done in 1926 by Fletcher Steels and has been beautifully reproduced in a giclee print.  Come by the Society for some wonderful conversations, delicious refreshments, and an interesting historic display.
