Southeastern Regional Voc Tech's Parent Coffee Hour

Please join us on Friday, January 4, 20135 at 7:30 AM for our Parent Coffee Hour. Meetings begin with delicious coffee and fresh pastries made at the school by Culinary Arts students. Next, parents enjoy informative presentations that include handouts, followed by discussions, questions and answers on a number of interesting and timely topics. Parent Liaison Sofia Rasher extends a warm invitation to area parents: “Even if you do not have a student here and would like to join us, please do, and learn what we’re about”

In response to parent requests, the January topic is Bullying and Social Justice. At this Morning Coffee Hour, Vice Principal Karen Maguire and on-site Easton Police Officer Callie Gurney will define bullying and what constitutes social justice. Join us and learn about we do, how we do it and what we do to ensure the physical and emotional safety for all our students at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School (SRVTHS).

Also, Principal David Wheeler will invite parents of SRVTHS students to an opportunity to participate in a Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) focus group on January 15, 2013, 3:30-4:00. Parent input is highly valued and essential to the continued improvement of education at SRVTHS.
