Inaugural Hospitality Good Scout Breakfast

The Boy Scouts of America Boston Minuteman Council will host its Inaugural Hospitality Good Scout Breakfast on December 6th at the Seaport Hotel. Many of Boston’s top hotel and restaurant industry executives and other business leaders will gather to raise awareness and support ScoutReach, which has revived Scouting in Boston’s inner-city neighborhoods.  The event will honor recently retired Massachusetts Restaurant Association (MRA) President and CEO Peter Christie and VPNE Parking Solutions for exemplifying the Scout Law values of being helpful, friendly and courteous.

With more than 650 boys between the ages 7 and 11 currently involved in the Boston inner-city ScoutReach program, money raised at the breakfast will send these boys to camp, purchase uniforms and Scouting gear, pay for family and Pack outings, rent vans for transportation to and from events and hire staff to lead the units.   The Boston Minuteman Council launched ScoutReach 18 months ago, and since that time more than 20 Scout units have been formed in Boston’s inner-city neighborhoods.

Tickets are $125.00 for individual seats.  Sponsorships are also available.
