LEGENDARY FOLK ARTIST, TOM RUSH, RETURNS TO OAKES AMES MEMORIAL HALL

On April 24, 2014, 7:00 p.m.,
Oakes Ames Memorial Hall and the Easton Shovel Town Cultural District are
excited to welcome back Tom Rush, to Oakes Ames Memorial Hall, 3 Barrows
Street, North Easton.

Tom Rush is a gifted musician and
performer, whose shows offer a musical celebration...a journey into the
tradition and spectrum of what music has been, can be, and will become. His
distinctive guitar style, wry humor and warm, expressive voice have made him
both a legend and a lure to audiences around the world. His shows are filled
with the rib-aching laughter of terrific story-telling, the sweet melancholy of
ballads and the passion of gritty blues.

As he is about to celebrate his
72nd birthday, Rush is still carving out an individual niche while still
clinging to his unassuming style and charming audiences in the Northeast and
throughout the country.
