On November 11, 1975, Oliver Ames Class of 1974 dedicated a marker near the Civil War Monument to honor the many historical events that had occurred near there.

November 2, 1886 Oliver Ames was elected the 35th Governor of Massachusetts.

Plan to visit the Easton Historical Society's Open House November 10th to honor Easton citizens who have served in wars.  Also visit the Veterans Memorial Park near the Railroad Station.

The Historical Society's November 17th meeting at Frothingham Memorial Hall at 3 p.m., will feature Fire Captain Jeffrey Webster who will discuss the Station fire in Rhode Island and fires that have happened in Easton.
