Submitted to Easton Patch:
Easton’s Grange #196 will continue the long time favorite of vegetable judging at this year’s NRT Harvest Fair on Sunday, September 30. Easton residents are encouraged to husband their veggie gardens between now and fair day to win ribbons and bragging rights.

Gardeners are urged to start now to groom their gardens to be ready to bring their specimens to the Jaycee Stable Barn at Sheep Pasture on Saturday, September 29 between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM. Judging will follow with the vegetables to be on display during fair hours on Sunday from 10 AM to 3 PM.
The following vegetable entries will be allowed: 2 tomatoes, 2 peppers, 2 yellow squash, 2 zucchini squash, 1 pumpkin, 3 carrots, a bouquet of herbs, “Flowers in a Jar” at 12’ or less and a “Best of Show” category will allow any other vegetable to be entered in an open competition. All entries will be shown on 9” white paper plates to be provided by the Easton Grange.
