Organizer Marty Weiner said the event will begin at 6 p.m. and "tip off" will be at 7 p.m. Tickets are going for $100.

Weiner said each ticket will be placed into a drawing. The first ticket drawn will earn its holder their money back. Each ticket will then be drawn from the pot.

If there are 100 tickets total, Weiner said the 98th ticket drawn will earn its owner $500. The 99th ticket will earn its owner $1,000 and the 100th ticket will earn its owner $1,500. Rewards could vary if more than 100 tickets are sold.

While most people will not win, Weiner said a ticket will earn participants a surf and turf dinner and entrance into a March Madness pool, with the winner likely receiving a cash prize at the end of the month.

"It's a nice fundraiser," Weiner said. "I'm psyched baseball season has arrived. It’s a good event for us."

Tickets can be bought by going to eastonyouthbaseball.org, Weiner said.

The fundraiser will help support Easton Youth Baseball, which begins games on April 21. The Opening Day ceremony and parade will be April 28.
