Oliver Ames High Soccer Teams Head Into Playoffs

Both varsity teams qualified for the MIAA tournament this year.

Both Oliver Ames High varsity soccer teams have qualified for the MIAA South tournament.

The boys’ soccer team, which went 11-0-5, has the second seed on the boys’ side in the Division 2 South tournament. The boys’ soccer team’s playoffs begin against Bishop Feehan at 7 p.m. Saturday at home.

Oliver Ames is the only undefeated team in the South tournament. The number one seed, Southeastern Regional, finished the regular season 14-2-0.

The girls’ soccer team, which went 12-2-4, has the third seed in the girls’ Division 1 South tournament. They will play the winner of Plymouth South/Walpole at 5 p.m. Sunday at home. The Plymouth South/Walpole game is scheduled at 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Franklin, which went 13-1-3, is the number one seed in the girls’ tournament.
