School on Wheels to Hold Second Annual 4 vs. 4 Basketball Tournament

The event will be on Saturday, March 24

Easton will be the fund raising headquarters for School on Wheels of Massachusetts on Saturday, March 24 when the charity hosts its second annual 4 vs. 4 basketball tournament.

The event will be held at beginning at 9:30 a.m. Last year, 28 teams participated in the inaugural tournament, but event organizer hope to exceed that number this year.

Entrance fees are $150 and guarantee at least two games. Organizers are also in search of sponsors to provide beverages and snacks.

There are two divisions - one which is highly competitive and one which is for "anyone who loves to play the game," event organizer Marty Weiner said.

The mission of School on Wheels of Massachusetts is to educate children impacted by homelessness by providing academic support and one-on-one mentoring so children can reach their full potential, according to the organization's website.
