Funny how things work. Liberals "evolve" yet Conservatives "flip flop". Either way, our Democrat friends find themselves in a pickle of sorts these days with regards to the recently passed and totally not understood Tech Tax.
As part of the latest money grab from the bottom feeders who are supposed to be watching out for OUR better interest, the gang that never met a tax they didn't like passed several new taxes including this Tech tax, the perpetual gasoline tax and of course more taxes on a pack of smokes.
Now aside from Governor "Tax it all Deval" Patrick's demands for more taxes, the reason many of our "representatives" used was "well, we haven't raised taxes in a while". Now there is some not too intellegent thinking for you.
That's what happenes when you are part of government. You get used to raises every year and no real budget issues as when you run out of money, just take more from the taxpayers. You need a job for a family member or a friend, the taxpayers will fund that and make you look good. Want to buy more votes, crank up the freebies. It's all in good as the taxpayers will fund that too.
The voting public is busy working on the repeal of the gasoline tax and I will have more about this at a later date, but those "great" leaders are beginning to realize that blindly taxing something that they have no idea what so ever about may not have been the smartest thing they could have done and are trying their very best to convince their people that it they didn't understand what they were voting for.
To that, I agree. They had no idea of what they were voting for. Someone said new tax and they jumped on the chance to take more of our money from us.
That alone should tell you everything you need to know about them. The bottom line here is if they voted for any of these taxes you need to repeal them. They obviously have no clue and you deserve better.
