Albert C. Becker, 85, of Southbury, Conn., formerly of North Easton, Mass., passed away at his home Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012. He was the husband of the late Catherine M. (Holzhauer) Becker. Mr. Becker was born in Harrisburg, Pa., May 18, 1927, son of the late Harry and Mamie (Schnable) Becker. He was a resident of North Easton, Mass., for 38 years and currently resided in Southbury, Conn. He retired after 35 years from the National Cash Register Company where he was a service manager. He was an Army veteran serving during World War II in Italy. He enjoyed golf and was an avid Yankee fan. He leaves two sons, James A. Becker of Ashville, Ohio, Daniel Becker and his wife Judy of Southbury, with whom he made his home; his grandchildren, Nicole (Becker) Coakley and her husband Paul of West Bridgewater, Mass., Melissa (Becker) York and her husband Dan of North Easton, Mass., Jennifer Becker and Mark Allbee of New York City, N.Y., and Christine Becker of Southbury; his two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Avery of West Bridgewater.
