Easton Obituary: Raymond A. Kelliher

Remembering Raymond Kelliher

Raymond A. Kelliher Ph.D, 76, of Norton and formerly Easton, passed away November 14. Raymond was the cherished husband of 47 years of Christine Roessel.

He was the son of the late Raymond and Clara Kelliher and brother of the late Clara "Snooki" Kelliher, all of Brighton.

Raymond was a Double Eagle since he received his Bachelors's and PH.D. in Organizational Behavior from Boston College.

Former public school teacher, school administrator and college professor, he then changed his career from education to the private sector. For another 20 years he was employed as Marketing Director for two startup companies, retiring in 2000.

In the ensuing years Raymond switched careers again, earned a CFP and ChFC, and became a Registered Representative with Commonwealth Financial Services in order to work with his wife Christine who was an established Financial Consultant with Commonwealth.

Raymond was very funny, loyal and greatly loved by family and friends. He died in the arms of his wife, Christine, whose heart is shattered.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Transfiguration Monastery, 278 Warren Street, Brookline MA 02445. The Monastery and The Holy Nativity Convent also in Brookline were deeply loved by Raymond along with St. Nectarios who had protected him for many years.
