Robert T. Conefrey Jr., 72, a resident of Easton for the past 48 years, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at home. He was the husband of Miriam (Parent) Conefrey for 50 years.
Born in Brockton on March 22, 1940, a son of the late Robert and Helen (Madan) Conefrey Sr., he was raised and educated in Brockton.
Robert was employed as a machinist in the shoe industry and worked for United Shoe of Brockton for 23 years. A devoted husband and father, Robert enjoyed classic cars, attending classic car shows, and camping in Winnisquam, New Hampshire.

In addition to his wife Miriam, he is survived by two sons, Robert Conefrey III of Brockton and Richard M. Conefrey of Easton; a sister, Helen Whiting of Berkley; and one grandchild, Robert T. Conefrey IV of Easton; he was also the sister of the late Joyce Nelson.
