Easton Obituary: Ruth A. (Dickson) Lyons

Ruth A. (Dickinson) Lyons, died peacefully on Dec. 23, 2012 in Naples, Fla. Born in Cambridge, MA, February 17, 1917, daughter of Edmund and Mary (Hughes) Dickinson; she graduated from Arlington High School and attended Boston University. She married Laurence A. Lyons in 1946 and was widowed in 1981. A longtime resident of North Easton, she was the office manager for the late A. Richard Daigle, DMD, for many years. She enjoyed her church, traveling, reading and her family. Mrs. Lyons leaves three children: Laurence Lyons ( Natalia) of Attleboro, Barbara Weller (Robert) of Naples, Fla. and Richard Lyons of Sarasota, Fla, five grandchildren: Laurence Lyons (Heather) of Va, Garrett Lyons of Boston, Jonathan Lyons of Newbury, Bethany Weller Scully (Sean) and Christopher Weller of Fla. She also leaves one beloved great-grandson, Jackson Scully. A funeral Mass was held in Naples at St. Ann Catholic Church and burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in North Easton.
