Andrew Miller Jr.
Andrew Miller Jr. Ed.D., of Plymouth, formerly of Duxbury, Easton and Brockton, died Dec. 5, 2012. Dr. Miller started his teaching career in the N. Attleboro Jr. High School and became chairman of the English Department. He later went on to become assistant principal in Hillside Jr. High School in Manchester N.H., Ellison Middle School in Duxbury and principal at George R. Austin Middle School in Lakeville. He became assistant superintendent of schools in Easton from 1976-1988 and principal at Easton Middle School from 1988-1997 and principal at F.L. Olmsted School in Easton 1997-1999. Alda T. (Teixeira) Dufresne, 85, of Norton, died at her residence surrounded by her family Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of Norton and was a graduate of Norton High School. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary Church, Norton. For the full obituary click here.
Romeo J. Guilmette, Sr., 85, of Attleboro, passed on Dec. 1, 2012 in the Golden Living Center, Garden Place, Attleboro. He served his country proudly as a member of the United States Army during World War II. Romero worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years, retiring from Dorrance Excavating in Norton. Katherine G. DiMarzio, 95, of Canton passed away Tuesday, Dec. 5 at the Norwood Hospital. Born and raised in Hyde Park, DiMarzio attended Boston Schools and has lived in Canton for the last 55 years. Dr. Donald James Handanyan, O.D., 85, of Longmeadow, formerly of Seekonk, died Nov. 29, 2012. Dr. Handanyan operated his optometry practice, Donald J.
