Obituary: Dorothy W. Wood

Dorothy Wilding Wood of North Easton died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at 78. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to Alfred R. Wood Jr. Dorothy lived most of her life in North Easton.

She was a graduate of Stoughton High School and was employed by Fernandes Super Market in Easton for over 20 years. She was an award winning portraiture artist.

She was the loving mother of Melodye W. Marks of Newark, Del., and Steven R. of North Easton; the sister of Beverly Mahoney of Rockland, Gilbert "Butch" Wilding of Raynham, Trudy Johnson of Stoughton, and Leslie Geraigery of Brockton; grandmother of Roger and Christine Marks. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours in the Copeland-MacKinnon Funeral Home, 38 Center St., Easton, Thursday, Oct. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. with services in the funeral home Friday morning at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment in South Easton Cemetery, Easton.
