Evan J. Greene, 19, of Easton, died unexpectedly on Thursday at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. Born in Quincy on July 13, 1994, a son of John R. Jr. and Stephanie A. (OHea) Greene. He was raised and educated in Easton and was employed in the construction industry.
Evan was active with both Easton Travel and Easton Recreational Basketball during his school years. His hobbies included snowboarding, skateboarding, dirt bike riding and quad riding. In addition to his parents he leaves a sister, Madison Greene of Easton; his paternal grandparents, John R. Greene Sr. of Stoughton and Helen (McNamara) Greene of Wareham; his maternal grandmother, Arlene (Payne) OHea of Bridgewater; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visiting hours were on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138), Easton. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
