Check Presentation from the Easton Garden Club

On Wednesday, January 15, Easton Garden Club members (President Jeanne Ebert,  Nancy Cohenno, Mary Beth Meyer, Gloria Freitas-Steidinger, Sandy Medeiros, Cindy  Lemish, Karen Cacciapuoti and Marjorie Liew-Melz met at The Children’s Museum in Easton to proudly present a generous check.  Paula Peterson, Executive Director and Co-Founder of The Children’s Museum graciously accepted the $500 check from the Easton Garden Club.   The Easton Garden Club had received a request in December  2013 asking for a donation.  The club’s donation will be used to enhance its outdoor area known as The Wild Place.  The donation was made possible from the proceeds of the Festival of Trees.  The Easton Garden Club was excited to help the much loved museum!  Please look for the new plantings this spring when visiting The Wild Place at the museum.  For more information on the Easton Garden Club, visit www.eastongardenclub.org .
