Easton Garden Club Dedicates Bench in Memory of Karen "Kay" Fulcher

On the morning of Saturday, September 21, Easton Garden Club members, family and friends of the late Karen “Kay” Fulcher gathered at Sheep Pasture for a bench dedication in honor of their beloved Kay.  Speakers from the Easton Garden Club, President Jeanne Ebert, Cindy Lemish and Nancy Cohenno all highlighted memories and stories of their friend Kay.

Kay, a garden club member since 1989, had been a President of the Easton Garden Club and had held her role as President throughout her illness.  Although it has been a little over a year since Kay’s passing on September 17, 2012, The Easton Garden Club has not quite been the same without Kay’s wisdom, smile, kindness, friendship and love of gardening.

The Easton Garden Club was honored to dedicate a beautiful bench from their Festival of Trees proceeds in memory of Kay.  The club would like to express a special thank you to Lisa McKenna, daughter of Kay, and her family, and all of Kay’s friends for all their love and support.   We hope all can “enjoy the day” as Kay would say, as you sit on the bench overlooking the view at Sheep Pasture.
