Letter to the Editor: Easton Democrats Support Costa Hanlon, Cronin, Jubinville, Kennedy, Warren and Obama

Endorsements from the Easton Democratic Town Committee

To the Editor:

The Easton Democratic Town Committee has endorsed the following candidates who will appear on the ballot on November 6, 2012.

In the race for the 3rd Bristol District of the State House of Representatives, the Committee has endorsed Sherry Costa Hanlon a current member of the Taunton City Council. The 3rd Bristol District represents Precinct 6 in the Town of Easton.

In the race for the 11th Plymouth District of the State House of Representatives, the Committee has endorsed Claire Cronin, a mediation attorney and resident of Easton. The 11th Plymouth District represents Precincts 1 through 5 in the Town of Easton.

In the two State Senate races, the Committee endorses Tom Kennedy for Easton Precincts 1 and 2 and Brian Joyce for Easton Precincts 3 through 6

In the contest for the 2nd District Governor's Council, the Committee endorses Robert Jubinville, a resident of Milton, former State Policy Lieutenant and now a trial attorney, The 2nd District covers Precincts 3 through 6 in the Town of Easton.

In the race for the 4th Congressional District which covers all of Easton, the Committee endorses Joseph Kennedy, III, a former Peace Corps volunteer and Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex and Barnstable Counties.

In the race for United States Senate, the Committee endorses Elizabeth Warren, a dedicated consumer advocate, teacher and attorney.

Last, but certainly not least, the Committee strongly endorses the re-election of Barack Obama and Joseph Biden for President and Vice President of the United States.
