Letter to the Editor: Former Easton School Committee Member Supports Cronin

A letter to the editor in support of Claire Cronin

To the Editor:

I am writing to support Claire Cronin’s candidacy for State Representative in the 11th Plymouth District.

I have known Claire for many years in both a social and professional context.  We served together on the Frothingham Family Y Board where she demonstrated her ability to work harmoniously and effectively with colleagues in the achievement of common goals.  During my tenure on the School Committee, I became aware of Claire’s strong support of our underlying priority to both sustain and continuously improve educational excellence for the children of Easton.  Her active membership on the FEEE Board is one manifestation of that support.  Less apparent was her unassuming  yet committed involvement in the several schools her two daughters attended.

Claire is consummate goal oriented professional.  She manages her time well, works well with others, has the intellectual acuity to grasp ideas quickly and has acquired the critical thinking skills necessary for breaking down a problem into solvable components.

Personally, Claire is a kind and gracious woman who relates comfortably with a wide range of people. She exudes optimism, an enthusiastic love of family and a deep concern for the community in which she lives.

As a current reside of Easton who grew up in Brockton, Claire would well represent the people from both areas.  Her constituents can be confident that she will listen to their concerns and then work collaboratively to implement the programs that will be to their benefit.

Because of these formidable professional and personal qualities, I unhesitatingly endorse Claire Cronin for State Representative.
