Want to keep Easton's youth smoke free?

Please consider signing this petition to increase the tobacco purchasing age in Easton from 18 to 21.

 

The theory behind increasing the age to 21 isn't arbitrary or to simply align it with the alcohol purchasing age. Data has shown that 90% of lifetime smokers begin before the age of 21. Currently the distributor of tobacco products to underage smokers comes from people between the ages of 18 and 20.
