Accident at 138-106 Intersection Sends One to Hospital

Thursday afternoon at approximately 4:30 p.m., Easton emergency officials responded to the intersection of Foundry and Turnpike Streets (Routes 106 and 138) for a motor vehicle accident.

One fire engine and one ambulance arrived on the scene and the ambulance transported one patient to Good Samaritan Medical Center.

Oven Fire Sends Responders to Arborway

At approximately 9:20 a.m. Thursday, Fire officials responded to Arborway for the report of an oven fire. Upon arrival, officials reported the building had been evacuated and there was nothing showing from outside.

The fire was out upon arrival and it was contained to the oven.

Accident at Gilmore Road and Meetinghouse Lane

Officials responded to the intersection of Gilmore Road and Meetinghouse Lane at approximately 1:48 a.m. Thursday for a motor vehicle accident.

No hazards or injuries were reported.

Lightning Strikes at Settlers Way

Two fire engines and a ladder truck were sent to Settlers Way at approximately 9:15 a.m. Wednesday for a reported lightning strike.

Crews arrived to find heavy damage to the electrical panel in the home from an obvious electrical back feed from a lightning strike in the back yard. The fire had not extended beyond the electrical panel. The power was shut off to residence and the electrical inspector was notified.

Accident at Washington and Elm

A fire engine and an ambulance responded to the intersection of Washington and Elm Street for a two-car motor vehicle accident Tuesday morning at approximately 8:45 a.m.

No hospital transport was needed.
