Accident Closes Depot Street Saturday

One person sent to Good Samaritan Medical Center


One person was transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center Saturday after her vehicle struck a pole near . The crash closed Depot Street while the poll was fixed.

Police and fire officials responded to the call at approximately 4:15 p.m. regarding the accident. Upon arrival, officials found the poll hanging by wires and exposed wires hanging in the street. Easton Fire officials transported the woman to Good Samaritan and National Grid responded to repair the poll.

Suspicious Teenagers on Bay Road Saturday

Police responded to reports of four suspicious teenagers on a Bay Road resident's property Saturday at approximately 10:20 p.m.

The caller said that when they were approached they were startled and fled in a small, dark-colored honda.

Another caller observed the teens moving traffic cones into the road. Officers responded and moved the cones back to the proper residence.

Vehicle B&E Reported Early Sunday

A Rockland Street resident called at approximately 12:20 a.m. Sunday to report her vehicle had been broken into within the last few hours. The caller was missing her purse and wallet and the windshield had been smashed.

While responding, an officer noted that several vehicles on Rockland Street had been broken into.

Motorcycle Accident at Washington and Depot Street Intersection

An accident at the corner of Depot Street and Washington Street sent a motorcyclist to Good Samaritan Medical Center Sunday afternoon at approximately 1:15 p.m.

The motorcyclist was transported by the Easton Fire Department.
