Blizzard of 2013: More Snow Saturday Morning, but Storm Pulls Away in Afternoon

Expect another five to nine inches in Easton Saturday morning before the storm is over.

Heavy snow is expected ton continue throughout Saturday morning in Easton, according to the National Weather Service.

Easton residents can expect to see snow, mainly before 3 p.m., according to the Weather Service, with wind continuing at 22-26 mph in the Shovel Town. Gusts may reach as high as 36 mph.

New snow Saturday is expected to accumulate by another five to nine inches.

Eventually, however, the storm will exit Easton and the entire east coast according to WHDH's Pete Bouchard.

"Storm starts to pull away mid/late morning," he said in his weather blog. "We can start to talk about the end game by midday as the back edge of the snow starts to work into Greater Worcester. I still think we'll see accumulating snow throughout the early part of the afternoon, but after 3pm, the storm may breath its last breath. Granted, the snow may shut down, but the wind will continue even as the skies clear. Blowing and drifting will be issues through early Sunday."
