Bourne's Auto Center Donates Car to Easton Police

The Easton Police Department is getting a new car from Bourne’s Auto Center in Easton.

“...it was brought to our attention that the Easton Police Department was in need of a vehicle for the Detective Division,” said Bourne’s Auto Center in a letter to Town Manager David Colton.

The Police Department accepted the gift pending approval of the Board of Selectmen, which they granted at Monday night’s meeting. Police Chief Allen Krajcik wrote a letter accepting the gift and expressing thank but Board of Selectmen Chair Colleen Corona “just want to thank them publicly.” A new car for the detective division “is something we needed.”
