Breaking and Entering Reported at Parkview School Over Weekend

The incident was one of many breaking and entering incidents over the weekend.

A smashed window at over the long weekend sent Easton police and detectives to the scene Monday morning to investigate an alleged breaking and entering incident.

Police first received a call at approximately 10 a.m. Monday regarding a broken window in the rear of the building with back door propped open. When officers arrived, they confirmed the calls and investigated the building to be sure trespassers were not present.

The matter is under investigation by the Easton Police Department.

Multiple Break-ins Reported Monday Morning

Many Easton residents awoke Monday morning to find that their motor vehicle had been subject to breaking and entering.

In all, 10 incidents were reported to Easton Police between 7 a.m. 5:30 p.m. Two residents arrived at the police station to report the incident, three residents on Pine Street reported that their vehicle had been broken into, one resident on High Street and two on Kenneth Road. In each incident, the residents' vehicles were left unlocked.

Two Injured in Washington - Belmont Street Accident

Two people were sent to the hospital Saturday afternoon as a result of a two-car motor - vehicle accident on the intersection of Belmont Street and Washington Street.

Police and Fire officials responded at approximately 3:20 p.m.to find the accident that left two injured. Easton responders brought the injured parties to Good Samaritan Medical Center.

Alleged Drunk Driver Arrested Early Saturday

A Mansfield woman was arrested by Easton Police for drunk driving early Saturday after she was pulled over on the corner of Washington Street and Welch Road.

Tara Kilsby, 30, of 27A Linden Street, Mansfield was arrested for operating under the influence at approximately 1 a.m. She was released on $40 bail.
