Breaking and Entering Reported at Pop's Christmas Night

A rock was allegedly thrown through the liquor store window Christmas night.

The following information was supplied by the Easton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Someone was apparently anxious to get into Pop's Fine Wine and Liquors Christmas night.

Easton Police received an alarm at approximately 8:30 p.m. Tuesday involving a motion sensor at Pop's Fine Wine and Liquors on Depot Street.

A responding officer confirmed that a window was broken with a rock and it appears there was an attempt to enter the building.

The incident is under investigation by the Easton Police Department.

Officials Respond to Oven Fire on Justin Drive

Easton Police and Fire Officials responded to a call at approximately 11:30 p.m. Christmas Eve on Justin Drive.

There was an oven fire and the caller shut the oven door. Police advised the residents to exit the building until the Fire Department arrived.

Fire Officials confirmed that the fire was contained to the oven. The Fire Department assisted in ventilating the residence.

Hit and Run Reported Christmas Eve

Easton Police received a call at approximately 5:20 p.m. Christmas Eve regarding a hit and run in Whistlestop Village.

The caller stated that a white Ford F150 hit the driver's side mirror of his vehicle and left the scene. The caller was uninjured and drive the vehicle home before reporting. The white Ford F150 should have side-swiped type damage to the driver's side.

The incident was logged.

Vehicle Drives into Woods on Bay Road

Easton Police received a call at approximately 1 p.m. Christmas Eve regarding a vehicle that drove into the woods on Bay Road.

Lawn damage was reported at 557 Bay Road, however no injuries were reported. A report was taken.

One Transported to Hospital After Christmas Eve Accident

Emergency Officials transported one person to Good Samaritan Medical Center Monday morning after a crash on Depot Street.

The crash occurred on Depot Street at approximately 11:54 a.m. Christmas Eve.

Three Car Accident Sends One to Hospital

Easton Emergency Officials transported one person to the hospital after a three-car accident on Foundry Street Sunday.

The operator of the patients vehicle was transported home by Easton Police.
