Breaking and Entering Reported on Foundry Street

A few B&E's in Easton highlight today's Police and Fire Log.

responded to a call on Tuesday, July 24 at approximately 11:15 a.m. regarding a breaking and entering incident on Foundry Street in the vicinity of Prospect Street.

The B&E occurred between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Police took a report and the matter is under investigation.

Easton Police received a call from the elevator at approximately 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, July 24.

Police faintly heard no emergency and the phone was hung up.

Police called back and spoke with a party who confirmed the call was accidental.

Road Hazard Near Stonehill Wednesday

Easton Police were notified Wednesday, July 25 at approximately 2:20 that the traffic signal in front of on Belmont Street was not working properly.

The officer checked to report the lights on the east and west side were flashing green and yellow while north and south lights were flashing red. Mass highway was notified to fix the problem.

Man Wearing Priest's Outfit Looks For Gun Shop

On Thursday at approximately 11:50 a.m., police responded to a call of a man wearing a priest's outfit at Five Corners.

The man was allegedly asking for the nearest gun shop.

Police located the man at a nearby business and he checked out. No action was taken.
