Brockton Man Arrested for OUI Thursday Night
John Pierce of Brockton was arrested for OUI after his wife, a passenger, reported him to police
A Brockton man was arrested Thursday for drunk driving after his wife, a passenger, called the police asking for assistance.
John Pierce, 46, of 503 North Carey St in Brockton was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and operating to endanger by Easton Police Officer Keith Boone, Police Chief Allen Krajcik said.
Krajcik said the police received a call at 11:30 p.m. Thursday from Pierce's wife, Linda Pierce, who said the driver was intoxicated and she was in need of assistance. Police located the vehicle, and after an investigation, arrested Pierce.

His wife, who was also intoxicated, was taken into protective custody, Krajcik said.
