Drugs Wrapped in Cash Found at Roche Bros.

The following are excerpts from the Easton police log.


Mon., June 16

  • 2:17 a.m. A caller said a vehicle was parked in a "strange location" on Rockmeadow Road.
  • 9:58 a.m. A tractor trailer struck a tree on Foundry Street while moving out of the way for a medical vehicle.
  • 10:54 a.m. A laptop was reportedly stolen from Southeastern Regional High School.
  • 11:23 a.m. Police were called for a fight between a landlord and a tenant on Lamplighter Lane.
  • 1:27 p.m. Police arrested a person on a warrant after stopping a vehicle on Foundry Street.
  • 3:09 p.m. A mother and daughter reportedly got into a "confrontation" on Depot Street.
  • 3:52 p.m. One person was hurt in a crash on Renker Drive.
Tue., June 17
  • 6:26 a.m. Police arrested Connor Walsh, of 7 South St., Easton, on a warrant.
  • 5:10 p.m. Sharon police called Easton police and asked officers to perform a welfare check on a child who was seen "holding to the door" of a vehicle while it was moving in Sharon. Officers spoke with the mother, who said she was disciplining her children.
  • 8:21 p.m. A caller on Pine Street said a group of youths were "breaking into a locked gate" at a playground. An officer responded and said the youths were just trying to play basketball.
  • 10:07 p.m. A store manager at Roche Bros. called police and said drugs were found wrapped in cash in the store. The owner of the cash was reportedly making threats wanting it back.
