An Easton man was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon when his car struck a tree on Foundry Street.
William Martin, 31, was transported via Medflight to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after his Toyota sedan struck a tree in the front lawn of 315 Foundry Street, Easton Fire Captain Tony Gomes said.
A hospital spokesperson at Brigham and Women's was unable to release the condition of Martin at this time.
No other injuries occurred and no one else was in the car with Martin, Gomes said.
He said the accident occurred at approximately 2:10 p.m. and the cause of the crash is undetermined at this time.
A helicopter landed at Raynham-Taunton Dog Track on Route 138 to transfer Martin to Boston.
