Krajcik said a Jenny Lind Street neighbor called at approximately 4:15 p.m. reporting a man breaking into a nearby residence. Police arrived and surrounded the house. Kyle Breton, who was inside the building, attempted to run through the front door, but was subsequently tackled by Officer Keith Boone and Det. Leonard Coe.

Kyle Breton had a hammer and a straight razor in his pocket.  He also had jewelry and other items that were stolen from the home, according to Krajcik. When he was asked how he got there, he said he had been dropped off.

Krajcik said Det Sgt Lynn removed a set of car keys from the Breton and pressed the “alarm” button and a car horn began sounding on a Dodge Charger that was parked further up the street.  The officers approached that vehicle and subsequently arrested his brother, Brian.

Officers Adam Kwan and Chris Aker also assisted with the arrests, Krajcik said.

"We appreciate the help from our citizens, said Krajcik, referring to the neighbor who reported the incident.  "It is important that they call the police when they see activity like this as this resident did."
