Easton police on Thursday said they busted a "major" heroin dealer.

Steven J. Glover, 31, of 506 Plymouth Ave., Marshfield, was arrested Wednesday night after police raided his home. Police also raided a building at 427 Centre St. in Brockton.

Authorities said they seized 600 grams of heroin worth about $60,000, $26,000 in cash, and two vehicles. They said they also arrested five other people.

Glover was charged with drug trafficking, distribution of drugs near a school zone, and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, among other charges.

"This was the result of a lengthy drug investigation by the Easton
Police Detective Division," Police Chief Allen Krajcik said in a statement. "Police believe Glover was a major distributor of heroin to the Easton area."

The raids were the results of a combined effort by Easton police, Marshfield police, Brockton police, members of the Northern Bristol County Drug Task Force, and members of the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Thank you to the Easton, Brockton and Marshfield Police as well as the DEA agents involved in this bust. Heroin is killing so many Massachusetts residents. We must get these dealers off of the street. This garbage contributed to I'm sure many young and old becoming addicted, overdosing and probably dying from this killer of a drug. I applaud all law enforcement who make getting scum like this and their drugs off of our streets. I'm sure you saved many lifes and hopefully prevented some from becoming addicted. Keep up the good work! Keep at it!

Great Job, thank you for helping to protect our children from this horrible drug. Can you please disclose the other people who were also arrested in this raid, especially if they were from Easton area. We have a right to know, and keep a watchful eye out for anyone suspicious. thank you
