Easton Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect


Easton Police are looking for a light-skinned black male, who attempted an armed robbery and got into a physical altercation at Dunkin Donuts at 285 Washington St. Monday at around 9:30 p.m.
The suspect is being described  somewhere between 18-20-years-old, 5"8'''-5"10'', wearing black pants and a dark gray hooded sweatshirt. He is wanted by the Easton police department for attempted armed robbery and anyone with information is asked to call the detective division at 508-230-3322.
Police say the suspect entered the store, jumped over the service count, pointing a firearm at two employees, while ordering them to ground. A physical altercation took place between the suspect and a Dunkin Donuts employee. The suspect reportedly punched them in the face and knocked down to the floor. The employee was later transferred to the hospital with minor injuries. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.
Sgt. David O'Reilly, officers Carolyn Gurney, Patrick Taylor and Brian Humeruk responded to the scene.
