Easton police said an officer was hurt while taking down an alleged burglar early Friday morning.

Officers responded to a Center Street home at about 2 a.m. after a woman said a man was trying to break in.

Police said they found Justin M. Taitz, 23, of 38 Edward Drive, Stoughton, hiding in a nearby recreational vehicle.

Police said he scuffled with officers trying to arrest him. One officer sustained a knee injury, according to Police Chief Allen Krajcik.

Taitz was charged with breaking and entering and destruction to property, among other charges.

actually it was his bestfriend's moms house. which his bestfriend stays in a trailer outside of his mother's house. they all got too drunk and he brought his friend inside of his trailer... and while in a drunken stupor, he tried finding his friend in his "house," after his friend left.... so bringing a gun involved is irrelevant. its called a misunderstanding.

Really Miss?? What part of the misunderstanding has a police officer hurt?

Too bad the idiot wasn't shot. Nothing worse than home invasion. Only the worst scumbags will break in to your house while they know your home. Then he attacked one of our cops too. What a piece of crap this kid is.
