Housebreak Reported on Lincoln Near Flyaway Pond Road

The incident is under investigation by the Easton Police Department

Easton Police are investigating a housebreak that allegedly took place on Lincoln Street near Flyaway Pond road Monday.

Easton Police Chief Allen Krajcik said police responded to an alarm call at the residence at approximately 3:30 p.m. Police Sgt. James McCavoy noticed an attempted break-in at the rear of the house.

Police undertook an "extensive" search, Krajcik said, which included a canine team. However, the suspect was not located.

Krajcik said the investigation is ongoing and nothing was taken from the residence.
