One Injured in Monday Night Accident

The injury was one of three accidents in the snow Monday evening.

The following information was supplied by the Easton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

One person was injured in an accident on snow-covered Turnpike Street Monday evening.

Easton Police received notification at approximately 7:50 p.m. Monday regarding a vehicle that struck a pole on Turnpike Street. Upon arrival, Easton Fire Officials transported one person to Good Samaritan Medical Center.

Two Accidents in Monday Night Snow

Two more accidents occurred Monday night in the snow that did not result in injury.

A two-car accident was reported at the VFW on Allen Road at approximately 7:25 p.m. and a vehicle reportedly struck a tree on Cross Street at approximately 5 p.m.

One Arrested for Assault and Battery on Police Officer

One person was arrested for assault and battery on a police officer early Monday morning.

Police received a hang-up call at approximately 1:30 a.m. Shortly after Karen Graney, 43, of 1 Walden Drive was arrested for assault and battery on a police officer. She was released on $140 bail.

One Arrested for Assault and Battery at Stonehill

One person was arrested early Sunday for assault and battery by Stonehill Police.

Easton Police first received a call at approximately 2:19 a.m. Sunday that one person was being brought in for assault and battery.

Under arrest was Peter Steiwer, 21, of Norwalk Conn. was arrested for domestic assault and battery. He was released on $90 bail.

Shoplifting Reported at Pop's Fine Wine and Liquors

A liquor bottle was reportedly shoplifted from Pop's Fine Wine and Liquors Saturday evening.

Police received a call at approximately 5:45 p.m. regarding a shoplifting incident. The subject was described as a young male between 19-22 years old, with long unkept brown hair and beard.

Officers were unable to locate the subject at the time.

One Injured in Belmont Street Accident

One person was injured Friday night after an accident on Belmont Street.

Easton emergency officials received a call at approximately 8:45 p.m. regarding the two-car accident. Easton and West Bridgewater paramedics transported the victim to Good Samaritan Medical Center.
