PHOTO: Easton Police Utilize Used Army Vehicle During Storm

The vehicle came in handy, Police Chief said.

During the height of the Blizzard of 2013, Easton's emergency responders needed all the help they could get.

Luckily, for Easton Police, a donation they received a few months ago came in handy.

"A few months ago the Easton Police acquired a used Army Humvee through a program that gives surplus military equipment to law enforcement agencies," he said. "This vehicle has helped tremendously during this storm. Officers were able to go down streets that hadn't been plowed yet answering calls for assistance."
