Police Log: Assault and Battery at Target, Two Deer Struck By Cars

The following information was provided by the Easton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Thursday, Jan. 9

At 12:58 a.m., someone came into the police station to report hitting a deer on Elm Street. 

At 1:17 a.m., a man came into the lobby to report that he struck a deer in the area of the farm stand on Route 138. He said that the deer was killed and there was just damage to the bumper on his vehicle. 

At 4:58 p.m., police received a report that a woman tried to steal two TVs and a vacuum before punching Target's loss prevention officer several times. Korianne Patricia Gamble, 25, of Raynham was arrested for larceny over $250 and assault and battery.

At 5:29 p.m., CVS reported that a black woman with red hair and a black sweatshirt tried to fraudulently obtain Oxycodone.
