Police Log: Car Vs. Hawk, Breaking and Entering, Robbery

The following is from the Easton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Saturday, Nov. 16

At 3:34 a.m., Easton Gas and Convenience on Washington Street was broken into through the front door. Officers were on scene investigating the incident. 

At 4:25 a.m., a caller reported hitting a hawk, which was alive and standing in the road. The caller drove by again and said the hawk was still there. When officers checked the area they were unable to locate the hawk. 

Sunday, Nov. 17

At 6:46 p.m., a caller from a business on Turnpike Street reported that an unarmed white man with a gray, laced sweatshirt jumped over the counter and took about $200. The suspect fled on foot in a unknown direction.
