Police Log: Copper Thief Strikes Again

The following is from the Easton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Tuesday, Nov. 12

At 11:37 a.m., the manager from North Easton Savings Bank on Eastman Street, reported that the remaining copper pipes were stolen sometime over Veteran's Day weekend.

At 1:17 p.m., a caller reported finding a small white dog, weighing about 10 pounds, with a blue new harness on Chestnut Street. The resident reported that he brought the dog to the Animal Protection Center in Brockton. 

Wednesday, Nov. 15

At 8:51 a.m., a resident reported that his vehicle was stolen sometime the previous night between 9 p.m. The vehicle's LoJack was activated.

At 4:42 p.m., a driver reported hitting and injuring a deer. The deer was euthanized.
