Police Log: Credit Card and Identity Fraud, Dog 'In Distress'

The following information was provided by the Easton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Monday, Jan. 6

At 1:29 p.m., someone came into the police department to report credit card fraud. 

Tuesday, Jan. 7

At 4:52 p.m., a person came into the station to speak with an officer about identity theft.

Wednesday, Jan. 8

At 10:03 p.m., police received multiple calls reporting a dog barking for the last two to three hours on Williams Street. The last caller reported that the dog sounded in distress. Police spoke with the owner, who brought the dog inside.
