Police Log: Deer Vs. Motor Vehicle, Larceny, and More

The following is from the Easton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Monday, August 23

10:58 a.m. Larceny (over $250). Party into station to report jewelry was stolen from her residence. 

Tuesday, August 24

3:52 a.m. Larceny (under $250). Party into Easton Police Department reporting her purse was either lost or stolen last evening at Hannaford's supermarket. Purse was found and returned by Hannaford's today. Party reports prescription medication and $37 cash is not missing from the purse. 

Wednesday, August 25

12:58 a.m. Accident (Deer vs. Motor Vehicle). South Easton Cemetery, Washington Street. Off duty Avon police officer reports motor vehicle vs. deer. Deer deceased, Party will be coming to Easton Police Department to file required reports, no personal injury. Animal Control Officer reports it being a doe. 

2:54 p.m. 
Larceny (over $250). Caller reporting a larceny of construction equipment because he thinks the caller owes him money. According to the caller, the equipment is barricaded at the suspect's home and would like an officer to accompany him when trying to retrieve his property. Caller advised to come to Easton Police Department and file a report, will do so tomorrow. 

4:12 p.m. Assault and Battery. Male into Easton Police Department to report a past Assault and Battery, requesting an officer.
